IEEE-SB, College of Engineering, Chengannur is proud to announce that we have bagged the Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award for Region 10 as a recognition of our efforts to strive as an impeccable student branch during the year 2015-16.

We express our appreciation for the valued services and contribution of our student members and our insightful faculty for their exemplary performance that has brought home this award.

On the eve of our 20th year celebrations we are very delighted to trot out this brand new feather in our cap! We view this as a fitting salute to the ardent efforts of our forbearers and the stellar performance of ExeCom’15 under the guidance of our beloved branch counsellor Mr. Shanu M.

Kickstarter to 20th year celebrations

IEEE Student Branch, College of Engineering Chengannur was blessed with the presence of its founders and many other prominent faces to kick start its 20th year celebrations. The Founder Meetup program featured 8 seniors who played a crucial role in the formation and development of the student branch. Their insights and experiences helped the students and volunteers to broaden their perspectives, shift focus and adjust priorities in order to become successful in all fields of life.

Congratulations to Susmitha M, the Secretary of IEEE Computer Society Student Chapter of the SB ExeCom 2015, for being awarded the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Student Award from IEEE Computer Society!
The award is given to a maximum of 4 candidates per year worldwide, for outstanding contribution to Computer Society and for maintaining an exceptional academic record. This is the first time a student from IEEE CEC is chosen for the award.

ROBOTHON 2016

Robothon 2.0 is the sucessful reiteration of the
much lauded ROBOTHON 1.0.The event was conducted as
a 3 day Robotics Hackathon with participants from across the state.
The participants competed against each other in a race against time to complete their projects.They were
guided by a team of experts who mentored them throughout the competition. At the end of the 3 day
hackathhon, a team from College Of Engineering Chengannur emerged the winners.
