Expected Outcomes of WIE Forum 2009

  •     Promotion of the entry into and the retention of women in engineering programs
  •     Enhancement of the career advancement of women in the profession
  •     Promotion of IEEE membership and retention of IEEE women members
  •     Increase the number of WIE affinity groups in Kerala section
  •     Strengthening of already existing WIE affinity groups
  •     Formation of a WIE FORUM committee in Kerela section
  •     Bring Women to the forefront and ensure women empowerment.
  •     Train volunteers for WIE as well as IEEE
  •     Assuring consistency and better implementation of STAR program.
  •     Try to make out necessary plans to attain Consistent growth.
  •     Promote growth within WIE.
  •     Pool out the large Potential of women from all SBs within the Section
