The IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group, College of Engineering, Chengannur organized a seminar on Device Modelling by Dr. Jobymol Jacob (Associate Professor, College of engineering, Cherthala). The event had a participation of more than 50, from M.Tech VLSI&ES students and faculties from different departments. The session started with a welcome speech and a brief introduction on the presenter and IEEE WIE AG at 10.00 am. The seminar mainly dealt with different types of device modeling. The seminar gave a deep knowledge about the mathematical modeling of hetero-junction transistors. She also introduced and explained her Ph.D. project. It was an interactive and informative session.The function ended up with bestowing a memento to Dr. Jobymol Jacob by Rani Vijaya(Associate Professor, Mathematics) at 1.00pm. The participants attended the event positively and energetically. The event received a good overall feedback.
