Solid State Circuit Society chapter of CEC organized a 2-day workshop on LabVIEW on 10th and 11th August 2016. The participants were M.Tech VLSI&ES students and faculties from Electronics and   Communication Department of College of Engineering Chengannur.

The workshop began at 9.30 am. Mr Ayoobkhan TE, Associate Professor in Dept of Electronics Engineering delivered the welcome speech and also he introduced the speaker, Mr Jiyo Mathew, Field Applicant Engineer from Trident Techlabs Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore. In the first day of the workshop, he introduced the basics of Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) and related hands-on session was also there. During the second day of the workshop, he familiarized the virtual instrumentation suite NI ELVIS, which is a teaching platform that takes students from discovering engineering theory to practical hands-on experience with industry-relevant technology.

After tea break at 3.30 PM, there was a questioning session and many participants clarified their doubts regarding both LabVIEW and NI ELVIS toolkit. The workshop ended up at 4.30 pm with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr AyoobKhan T E.
